While this organization is starting locally in the Bastrop and LaGrange, TX area, the goal is to grow into a national organization.
Executive Leadership of The Firearms Fellowship – Our Founder, Crystal Duke.
Local Chapters led by Group Guydes. Guydes will choose members to become part of the Fire Fellows team in their local chapters to help with various duties in support of members. Guydes must have the following 3 Firearms Instructor certifications in order to be considered: Pistol, Rifle, and RSO or CRSO. These 3 foundational certifications are necessary to meet the diverse needs of every group and help offer interesting and varied content at meetings. They must also have current insurance AND pass the FBI qualification within the first 2 years of becoming a Guyde.
Fire Fellows assist their Group Guyde at events. They must have, at minimum, Range Safety Officer certification to assist their Guyde during live-fire events. However, they are encouraged to grow in our community and seek out more training and certifications which will in turn enrich their local community and our community at large. Fellows assist in many other ways as well such as range set up, outreach, social media expertise and more.
Fellows (general members) are the heartbeat of our organization. We exist because of and for you! Regular attendance at events is highly encouraged so you keep growing your skills, mindset, education, etc. We welcome all levels of shooting ability and encourage you to invite your friends too. Interested in taking the next step and helping in your community? Talk to your Group Guyde.
