Overview
- Cost: $100/year for members paid to HQ. +$15 (minimum) event fee for every event paid to chapter Guyde.
- Our culture is inclusive and non-judgmental. This is NOT a bro-culture group. Group Guydes can be either male or female. But, they must be highly credentialed and able to maintain the culture without it devolving into toxic masculinity bro culture. This is a group for men to get educated about all aspects of firearms, improve their skills, and seek training from their group Guyde. Ongoing training is a focus point of this group. This is a fellowship group with an “aim” to becoming better marksmen, protectors and shooters in every area desired.
- The Fellowship will meet 2x/month with the following format: 2-hour meetings with the first 30 minutes for educational topics given by the Guyde or guest speaker (this can be on the range as part of range time). Then 1 hour on the range practicing or working on the skill segment just introduced by the group Guyde. Followed by a 30-minute food and fellowship time. This structure will promote the value of education, valuable practice time and fellowship amongst members. Or the group can go out to a restaurant for the fellowship time and have more time on the range.
- Group Guydes are encouraged to have help with a leadership team, called Fire Fellas, and grow them so they can help grow the members.
- Every member must review and sign the member expectations. No bullying, crass behavior or jokes will be tolerated at any time.
- Group Guydes are highly credentialed individuals to meet the many needs of a growing and diverse group.
- Event fees are always charged to help the group facilitators maintain a break-even status for their time.
- A FB page for each group will be maintained by the Group Guyde, created by HQ. This private page is where all events and pertinent information will be posted.
- There will also be a members only access page to all members on the Firearms Fellowship website.
