Who’s looking forward to Daylight Savings Time?

Who’s looking forward to Daylight Savings Time?

Me, me, me! I am! The winter time is one where none of us shoot as much as we’d like to or are used to. And I don’t like cold weather! But, longer days are just around the corner and we are about to be shooting at every event. We’ve been on classroom education all winter and learning terrific things! But, likely everyone is ready to hit the range more and dust off those skills we haven’t used in a while.

We will be building skills this spring like building speed, learning about cover vs. concealment, shooting qualifications, learning about red dots and much more in the months to come. We all need to knock the dust off after sitting around more. Invite your friends to a Firearms Fellowship event as they are a lot of fun and you learn about a lot of topics. Each event is designed to be a toe in the water for a specific topic and your Group Guyde has more in-depth classes about each of the topics they cover.

It’s time to recommit to your firearms journey. Remember it’s not a destination. It’s a journey to the next level or skill or certification. And, shooting is fun! So the more we do it, the better we get when true learning takes place. Anyone can go to the range and poke holes in targets and most are pretty unsuccessful at that. Keep building your skills. Or try another platform like rifle or sporting shotgun. How about committing to attending a match in your area with members of your group and your Group Guyde?

Take your family to the range and reacquaint them with the home defense guns around the house. They need regular practice as well and could also benefit from a class.

Check in with your Group Guyde to see what classes they have on tap. We have to dust off our sluggish winter mindsets and wake them up again. Your Guyde has lots of things going on for you to learn. Take a class with them and meet new people. You might just meet your new best range friend!

Stay safe and keep training!
